Nikkor 35-200mm f/3.5-4.5 AIs - First Roll
I just bought a new (to me) Nikkor 35-200mm f/3.5-4.5 AIs lens. I wanted the extended zoom range in a manual focus lens. Apparently this lens was not hugely popular but the reviews I've read indicate it is a really good lens. I’m not sure why but it probably has to do with timing and the advent soon after its release of the autofocus lenses. The scans below are from my first roll of film using this lens. I used the Nikon F4 because it balances the weight of the lens very nicely. The film used was Wal-Mart branded Fuji Superia Xtra 400. It was the 14th roll developed in a liter batch of Rollei Digibase C-41 chemicals. The chemicals were mixed on July 12th 2011.
