Gettysburg National Battlefield - The Battle of Gettysburg (July 1 – July 3, 1863) was the battle with the largest number of casualties in the American Civil War. If you have any interest at all in American history I highly recommend a visit to this battlefield. It is moving. Much more so than I had expected.
